Empyrean Energy Plc acquired the rights to earn up to a 52% working interest in the Neus Bergland Permit located onshore southwest Germany.

A number of large anticlines could hold between 1.2 and 6.2 trillion cubic feet of dry gas.

The principal targets are highly fractured and faulted Westphalian coal measures.
